  • 450 grams of durian 
  • 200 grams of sugar 
  • 4 tbsp of oil 

Steps: 

  1. Before starting to make the durian paste, you will need to remove the seeds in the durians and mash it up. 
  2. After you are done, put 1 tablespoon of oil into a pan and add in the mashed durian and sugar. 
  3. Stir the mixture for around 15 to 20 minutes and gradually add in the oil, 1 tablespoon at a time. 
  4. Continue to stir the mixture until it turns dry and shiny. 
  5. Store it in an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator.

Durian paste should be stored in an airtight container, and placed in the fridge to maintain its freshness.
